The train carries a maximum of just 36 passengers with a passenger to staff ratio of 3:1, so it does indeed feel very exclusive.

The journey will start departing Edinburgh in the early afternoon, journey north through the former kingdom of File, then up into the dramatic scenery of the Highlands.
